Frequently asked questions
How do I get notifications for a match?
Cric First only sends alerts for matches you follow. Open a match and tap the follow or bell control on it. You can choose which event types you want — wickets, boundaries, match start, and milestones — in Profile → Notification Settings.
I'm not receiving notifications. What should I check?
- Confirm you are following the match — alerts are only sent for followed matches.
- Check notifications are enabled for Cric First in your device settings.
- Check the specific event type is switched on in Profile → Notification Settings.
- Fully close and reopen the app so it re-registers for push.
Scores look delayed or a match is missing.
Pull down to refresh the match list. Live scores stream continuously while a match is in play, so a stalled screen is usually a dropped connection — switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data normally restores it. If a fixture is missing entirely, email [email protected] with the teams and date.
How do I delete my account and data?
Visit the account deletion page and follow the instructions there. Deleting your account removes your profile, followed matches, and notification preferences.
